Staycations
If you are looking for an escape this year, it is very unlikely that leaving the country is an option, possibly even for next year too. Here are our favourite staycations in this country…

Isle of Skye
Unbelievable beautiful and the perfect getaway, the Isle of Skye is a must visit and you have to see it to believe it. There’s plenty to see and do, like visiting the Old Man or Storr or Fairy Glenn, just make sure you fill up on fuel at every opportunity, because petrol stations are few and far between!
Cornwall
When you visit Cornwall, you do feel like you are overseas, with a slower pace and gorgeous beaches. We love Cornwall even in the winter, when you can go on crispy walks and enjoy the scenery. Lands End is of course popular but the quaint fishing village of Polperro is a must visit.
The Peak District
If you are a fan of walking, then the Peaks are the place for you. Home to places like Edale where you will find Mam Tor and walks such as the Roaches, you will be totally spoilt for choice. Wrap up warm if you’re going in the winter though as things get pretty chilly at the top of a mountain.
The Lake District
Windermere is gorgeous but there are other places high up on our agenda too. Visit Ullswater and Tarn Hows if you want gorgeous scenery but a less touristy feel to your trip.
We are so lucky to have so many amazing places in Great Britain, if you have any other destinations in mind, do let us know and we will add them to our travel list. If you’re looking for a car to adventure in, get in touch with a member of the team at Kendrick Cars who will be more than happy to help you in your search.
