Visiting the Peak District

If you are looking for adventure, be it in the form of a walk or something busier, here are our favourite places to head to in the Peak District.

Mam Tor

A lovely walk and with views that will stun you, Mam Tor is one that never seems to get old. No matter how many times we walk it, it is always a new and fun experience. There are places to stay, things to see and pubs to relax in after your walk too, which is always a plus in our book.

Thor’s Cave

Another walk but very different, Thor’s Cave is an experience in itself and no words can quite do it justice. We love to look out from the cave and explore all the hidden parts inside. It can get quite slippery in bad weather though and quite busy in the summer months!

Bakewell

A quaint place to visit and like something from a fairytale. If you want somewhere you can wander around and take life at your own pace then Bakewell is the place for you. Perfect if you’re nosey too as there are gorgeous houses to look at along the way.

Sheffield

If you’re looking for more hustle and bustle, head to Sheffield for bars, nightlife, shopping and more. It’s quirky in its own right and there are plenty of hidden gems there too.

These are just some of the places we love to visit in the Peak District. If you are heading there, let us know and we can share more tips with you!
