Planning a staycation

2020 hasn’t exactly gone as planned and you might be thinking of heading into 2021 with caution. That being said, there are plenty of gorgeous places to explore in this country and a staycation may be long overdue. Here are our tips for planning one…

Be daring 

Think outside the box and consider going somewhere you have never been before. We love returning to the same place but it can be really exciting trying somewhere new. There is plenty to explore in the UK so get exploring.

Travel, if you can!

We like to travel around a little, obviously if it is safe to do so. Instead of staying in one place for a week or long weekend, look at the neighboring places or see if you can make some stops either on the way there or on the way back.

Ask the locals 

The internet is great but ask locals for recommendations on where to go and where to eat. They will have hidden gems up their sleeves and you might find something that would have gotten lost on Trip-advisor! 

Have fun…

Most importantly, enjoy yourself and have fun! There are loads of lovely places to explore so head on out and see them.
